Raising awareness for veteran suicide

GORHAM, Maine (NEWS CENTER) — More than 60 people walked 22 miles from Limington to Scarborough Saturday as part of "22 Ruck Maine," a program organized to raise awareness for veteran suicide.

Everyone walking knew someone who died by suicide.

About 22 veterans die by suicide every day.

This year's walk was put on to raise awareness for Joseph Labbe, who served in the Marines.

This story will be updated.
