and the Strand in Rockland on Friday night with special guest Kentucky singer-songwriter Joan Shelley
Patty’s most recent album is “Servant of Love” these two Maine shows are SOLO ACOUSTIC ones!

Jake Shimabukoro @ Stone Mountain Arts Center on Thursday, Nov. 10
He’s the Jimi Hendrix of the ukulele. Jake’s from Honolulu and he combines jazz, blues, funk, rock, bluegrass, classical, folk and flamenco. Originals and his incredible re-interpretations of other peoples’ work.

Ani DiFranco at the State Theatre in Portland on Tuesday, Nov. 15
This is a stop on her “Vote Damnit” tour
DiFranco covers a wide range of topics in her music from love to politics .

Humming House, Wednesday, Nov. 16 at One Longfellow Square
Quintet out of Nashville. Folk, bluegrass and soul awesomeness with mandolin, fiddle, acoustic guitar, bass and incredible male and female vocals. You’ll hear mixed strains of bluegrass and Irish with vintage swing and early 60s hootenanny folk music. Most recent album is last year’s “Revelries”
They also released a cover of McCartney’s “Maybe I’m Amazed” and it’s great.
