The Sweetback Sisters Country Sing-Along Christmas Show

Friday, Dec. 8. Chocolate Church Arts Center in Bath

Show info:

https://www.chocolatechurcharts.org/2017-2018-events-data/2017/7/14/sweetback-sisters-country-sing-a-long-country-christmas-

FYI:

The rollicking country swing of the Sweetback Sisters is as infectious as it is heartwarming. Their charismatic charm harkens back to the golden era of both the silver screen cowgirl and the ersatz cowboy stars of local UHF TV kiddie shows. The Sweetback Sisters sing country songs in close, surrogate-sister harmony and of course this show highlights their signature insatiable urge for an Old-timey Christmas sing-a-long.

FYI: folk rock trio Ballroom Thieves is the trio of guitarist Martin Earley, cellist Calin Peters and drummer Devin Mauch. Last year’s “Deadeye” is one of my fav albums of the year. Their new single “Only Lonely” was released just a couple of years ago and already has more than a million plays on Spotify.
