Two truckers arrested on marijuana charges

HAMPTON, N.H. (NEWS CENTER) — Two truckers in New Hampshire were arrested Saturday for allegedly carrying marijuana and illegal possession of firearms.

New Hampshire state police said they were stopping commercial vehicles on I-95 in Hampton, N.H., for routine enforcement when they smelled marijuana in one of the trucks.

Troopers searched the truck and said they found pot and two guns. One of the weapons had the serial number shaved off.

Police arrested Antwan Omar Smith and Alfego Sirmonte Daniels, both residents of Greenville, N.C.
