Just because Fall is right around the corner doesn't mean you have to say goodbye to all of your favorite warm weather sports. Hang onto your racquets, because on this Fit at Five we show you how Tennis may be the perfect year round sport to keep you in shape. No matter what your age.

At St. Peter's Grand Slam Tennis Camp many kids have been coming here since they were little. Tennis coach Nick Polk tells us how he loves seeing the transition of these kids through the years. Many of them who were barely able to hit a ball when they were young have now moved on to make the varsity team in high school and have even started playing at the college level.

Not only is tennis fun, but provides a great cardiovascular workout. Many of the kids that we met at the camp said they love playing tennis with their parents. Whether you're playing indoors or outdoors it's a life long sport that will keep you sweating.

According to www.myfitnesspal.com the average person can burn around 400 calories an hour playing tennis. Playing a game of doubles? That will torch about 300 calories an hour.

We have provided a link to St. Peter's Grand Slam Tennis for more information on their clinics. If you know of other tennis camps in your area please feel free to share in the comment section below.
