BOIL WATER Order in Ellsworth released

UPDATE: The city of Ellsworth has lifted the boil water order for the affected areas posted Thursday. The test results show no contaminants were found. 

ELLSWORTH, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- Some residents in Ellsworth are being notified of a boil water order that was released at about 4:00 p.m. Thursday. 

The Ellsworth Water Department advises all residents in Ellsworth working or residing north of the Mill Mall area to boil water for 5-minutes before consuming or using for any potable needs.
