  • A new business in Scarborough is working to provide clients with a well rounded training experience. Zone 3 Fitness stands for strength, balance, and endurance. You can see the result from those three elements in their popular circuit training class.

    Owner Nicole Avery explains why the importance in a balanced workout is stressed at Zone 3. "You think about someone who might be able to go out and run a marathon. They are probably having some reoccurring injuries, because they don't spend enough time building strength or balance."

    Athletes are not the only ones that benefit from this type of workout. Thanks to the way the class is designed newbies can benefit too. Each station can be modified for the clients, and a trainer is there to provide clients with these options.
