9/11 blood drive is today!

Remembrance blood drive this Sunday.

(NEWS CENTER) -- This year marks the 15th anniversary of the September 11th attack. NEWS CENTER once again will team up with the Red Cross for a remembrance blood drive.

Sunday, September 11th NEWS CENTER and the Red Cross of Maine will hold its annual '9/11 Roll Up Your Sleeve and Remember Blood Drive.'
  
This year's event is being held at four locations across the state;

The Portland Elks Club on Congress Street, the Augusta Civic Center,    the Auburn Fire Department on Minot Avenue and the Holden Fire Department on Main Road.

You can stop at any of those locations on Sunday, September 11th to donate blood.
You can also call 1-800-RED-CROSS or visit REDCROSSBLOOD.ORG to schedule an appointment to donate.

Hours:  9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Holden Fire Department – 570 Main Road, Holden, ME 04429 – GOAL 36 pints
Hours:  9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
