Little improvement in Maine standardized test scores

PORTLAND, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- Maine Department of Education released the most recent numbers for standardized test results.

Maine's elementary and middle school students made few gains. For the majority of scores, math numbers in grades 3 through 8 stayed flat or declined. Fifth grade was the only one improve over last year. In reading comprehension, students in grades third, fifth and seventh scored the same as 2012.
