Dover Police Department searching for suspect involved in credit card fraud

New Hampshire police looking for Dover car jacker.

DOVER, N.H. (NEWS CENTER) -- The Dover Police Department said they are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a female suspect who allegedly stole another woman's car and credit cards. 

Police said a Maine woman reported that her vehicle was stolen from the parking lot of Planet Fitness in Dover. The victim  also discovered that her credit cards, which were in the car at the time of the theft, were used at several businesses in Plaistow, NH.

 DPD detectives obtained security footage from Walmart and TJ Maxx in Plaistow that contained images of an unidentified female using the cards, said police.

According to police, the victim’s vehicle was spotted on Saturday, September 10, 2016, in Exeter, NH, by an Exeter police officer.  Police said they identified and arrested the operator of the vehicle at that time, 33-year-old Michael Page, of Raymond, NH, for receiving stolen property, a felony offense.

The Dover Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the female in the security video. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call the Dover Police Department at 603-742-4646.
