Brooks Dad indicted by Grand Jury in shock collar abuse case

BELFAST, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- A Waldo County Grand Jury has indicted a man from Brooks on charges he used a dogs shock collar on his 7 year old son and 9 year old daughter. 28-year-old James Kuhn is charged with five counts of domestic assault. According to authorities, the seven year old told school officials he had been kicked by his father repeatedly in the leg, back and head. He also said his father used a shock collar as a form of discipline. Kuhn has since been released on bail and cannot have any contact with the children.
