AUGUSTA (NEWS CENTER) -- Three arrests have been made in connection with a string of 14 burglaries that occured during the months of October and November. The Kennebec County Sheriff's Office, the Maine State Police, the Fairfield, Oakland, Winslow and Waterville Police departments were all involved in the investigation.
The men arrested were 20-year-old Travis Barrett of Augusta, 21-year-old Kenneth Mitchell of Waterville and 22-year-old Christopher Reed of Waterville.
A search warrant was executed at Reed's residence in Waterville on Tuesday. Police seized a 42-inch plasma TV, Oxycodone, Methadone, computers, and 8 firearms.
Barrett was charged with Burglary, Theft by Unauthorized Taking, a Warrant Arrest for Possession of Schedule W and has additional charges pending.
Mitchell was charged with Burglary, Theft by Unauthorized Taking, Criminal Mischief and Violation of Condition of Release.
Reed was charged with Aggravated Furnishing of Schedule Drugs, Class B Receiving Stolen Property and Class C Receiving Stolen Property.
The three men remain in custody.
