CAPE ELIZABETH, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- Lounging on the couch for hours playing video games is a pretty normal sight for a teenager but very few of them can actually create these virtual worlds. Sixteen-year-old Julian Wyzykowski is one of those few.
An avid gamer, Julian developed his first game for the Apple App Store when he was just twelve. He knew early on that he wanted to understand how the programming of the games worked and to make his own. He taught himself to write code and now has eight apps in the store, including games, a news feed and an app based on the famous Saturday Night Live cowbell sketch.
His next challenge is how to stand out in a store with more than a million other products that are often backed by major companies with deep pockets.
Julian's goal is to run his own gaming company someday.
