A ridge of high pressure was situated right over New England on Thursday bringing nothing but sunshine. The high is going to move off to the east on Friday setting up a southerly flow that will allow temperatures to climb well into the 30s for the first time this month. There should be plenty of sunshine as well. On Saturday A cold front will be headed our way so I expect more clouds in the sky but it should be quite mild with temperatures near 40. Colder air behind the front will arrive for Sunday knocking temperatures back down into the lower 30s. A small ridge of high pressure should supply us with plenty of sunshine. The high will give way to a warm front and increasing cloudiness Sunday night. I'm guessing those clouds will stick around for most of Monday then give way to partial sunshine Tuesday as another cold front moves through. Behind this front more very cold weather is in the cards for the second half of next week.
