BANGOR, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- The Bangor Police Department arrested a man believed to be involved in the death of a 5-month-old boy in Bangor Thursday afternoon.
Samuel Moore, of Bangor, was arrested and charged with manslaughter in connection with the baby's death. He is currently being held at Penobscot County Jail.
A representative from The Bangor Police Department said Moore was employed as the baby's caregiver at the time of his death.
The baby, Korbyn Antworth, died at Eastern Maine Medical Center one day after being transported there from a home on Griffin Road in Bangor. The cause of Antworth's death is being withheld until officials further investigate the incident.
The Bangor Police Department's Criminal Investigations Division is working with the Maine Attorney General's Office on this case.
