CLEVELAND, Ohio (WKYC) -- A LinkedIn response to a job seeker is creating a huge backlash.
A Cleveland woman who has a well-known job bank in town responded to a young woman who sent her a linked in request, and boy did she let her have it!
Here's part of her response - "Your invite was inappropriate, beneficial only to you and tacky. Wow I cannot wait to let every 26 year old jobseeker 'mine' my top tier marketing connections to help them land a job."
It ended with, "you're welcome for your humility lesson for the year. Don't ever reach out to senior practitioners again and assume their carefully curated list of connections is available to you, just because you want to build your network. Don't ever write me again."
We asked the author of this note for comment, but she hasn't responded.
The job seeker says the woman apologized to her by email.
