WESTPORT, Conn. (AP) - Police in Westport, Conn., say a woman pulled from the Saugatuck River earlier in the week died from blunt impact injuries to the head, torso, and extremities, either from being struck by a vehicle or falling.
The woman, identified as Annette L. White, 46, was pulled from the river by Westport firefighters on Friday. Her body was found by duck hunters in a kayak.
Police said Sunday that White, who was from Maine, had been living in Connecticut since July.
Anyone who had contact with White on Thursday or Friday or who observed a woman matching her description is asked to contact the Westport Police Department.
