BANGOR, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- It was a cold start to Christmas for customers of Concord Coachlines. After being dropped off at the Union Street station around 11:00 this morning, passengers were welcomed by locked doors as the station was closed.

This came as a surprise to passengers as they say they were told the bus station would be open for them to stay warm during their four hour layover.

One passenger was arrested after taking matters into his own hands and entering the locked building through the back door, letting everyone inside to escape the frigid temperatures. But his actions left both him and his girlfriend temporarily stranded in Bangor.
