BROOKLYN CENTER, Minnesota (KARE) -- At Odyssey Academy charter school in Brooklyn Center, Minnesota the hard lessons of life have found their way inside.

Of the five children involved in Thursday's crash in St. Louis Park, four of them went to school at Odyssey Academy.

"It's difficult for me to talk to you right now because you're speechless in a situation like this," said John Sedey, the school's executive director.

While some students know what happened, others do not. So Friday, Sedey says counselors will be on hand to help them and the staff.

"The idea tomorrow is to give families the tools they need to help their children deal with this," he said,

Kindergarten teacher Laura Montray is dealing with it herself. She currently teaches 5-year-old Amani Coleman-Guerrido, but has taught two of the other children, as well. She and other staff describe the children as great kids.

"They're just so sweet and so nice. Just the best kids. They really are. When I saw another one was coming to school, it put a smile on my face because they are just awesome kids," said Montray.
