BANGOR, Maine (AP) - Police say they've arrested a 21-year-old man in the death of a woman in her home in Bangor.
The Bangor Police Department found the woman's body Monday afternoon after responding to a call about a domestic disturbance at 166 Essex Street. Sgt. Catherine E. Rumsey said Zackery Mailloux of Bangor was arrested at an apartment house.
Bangor police declined to release the victim's name pending completion of an autopsy, scheduled for Tuesday at the state medical examiner's office in Augusta.
Mailloux was being held at the Penobscot County Jail. His initial court appearance is expected on either Tuesday or Wednesday at the Penobscot Judicial Center.
