PORTLAND, Maine (AP) - Police in Portland are investigating a weekend stabbing in the city.
Authorities say Christopher Raymond was stabbed at about 3:30 a.m. Sunday.
Police say they were notified by Maine Medical Center that doctors had treated a stabbing victim.
Lt. Gary Hutcheson says Raymond was stabbed with a knife during an altercation with another man. His injuries are not considered to be life-threatening.
No motive was disclosed and there was no immediate word on arrests. Police are asking for the public to call them with any information about the stabbing.
