BANGOR, Maine (NEWS CENTER) --- As winter draws closer, many Mainers are gearing up for another season that is sure to bring wear and tear on the cars they drive.
National studies show that vehicle corrosion costs American auto owners about $23 billion each year. Many area mechanics say they are seeing more problems of rust building on brake and fuel lines of the cars in their shops.
Yet if our cars are wearing down faster here in Maine, what could be causing it? NEWS CENTER took a look at the debate surrounding that question in this special report.
