Boston Mayor Tom Menino announced Thursday morning that the championship parade will roll out again Saturday morning. Roll out, because once again the City of Boston will hold a Championship Rolling Rally. The world famous duckboats will be loaded and start their rally inside of Fenway Park at 10AM Saturday November 2nd. From there they will follow Boylston Street, past the site of the Boston Marathon Bombing, down to The Museum of Science where they will hit the water. The rolling rally will conclude with a small jaunt around the Charles River in Cambridge.
The 2013 World Series Championship marks the Red Sox eighth championship and third in the last 9 years.
