CONCORD, N.H. (AP) - New Hampshire Fish and Game officials want to set dates on the winter weekend when snowmobilers registered in New Hampshire, Vermont or Maine can roam trails in the other two states without being registered there.
Typically held on the fourth full weekend in January, officials are proposing that the 2014 reciprocity weekend be held Jan. 31 through Feb. 2.
Fish and Game Capt. John Wimsatt says the department's proposing the change to select the most convenient weekend for all three states.
A hearing is scheduled for Oct. 21 at 6 p.m. at the division's Concord headquarters.
