BIDDEFORD, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- The MDEA has arrested four people in Biddeford and charged them with selling crack cocaine. The two men and two women were arrested in the parking lot of a shopping center Thursday and a quantity of cocaine and money were seized, along with the car they were in.

Charged with aggravated trafficking of crack cocaine, a class A felony, are Darlene Court , 44, of Saco; Kimberly Pierce, 29, of Waterboro; Aaron Brown, 28, of Biddeford and Earl Guerro, 24, of Boston, Massachusetts.
As the result of an ongoing drug investigation, agents learned that the four were about to make a sale of cocaine in the parking lot of the Five Points Shopping Plaza in Biddeford. MDEA agents and Biddeford Police set up surveillance in the parking lot and took the four into custody as the transaction was taking place.
Agents seized 11.8 grams of crack cocaine with an estimated street value of $1000. Also seized was $1980 in cash and a 2010 Toyota Corolla. The charges are heightened to the aggravated status because the sale was taking place within 1000 feet of a designated safe zone (May Field).
Darlene Court has prior federal convictions under the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (Rico) Act and trafficking in drugs. Guerro has convictions in Massachusetts for drug trafficking and possession with intent to Distribute within 1000 feet of a school zone.
State Police also assisted in the investigation with a drug sniffing dog.
