Tonight - Cloudy skies and mild temperatures. Lows only in the 60s. Slight chance of some showers and thunderstorms in the mountains.
Wednesday - Partly sunny skies with the chance of afternoon thunderstorms. Best chance of seeing thunderstorm activity will be in northwestern Maine and New Hampshire. Coolest temperatures will be found along the coast east of Portland due to the winds coming off the water. That being said, they will still be around 80 degrees. Inland locations warm into the 80s with some low 90s in western Maine possible.
Extended Forecast - Still warm and humid out there Thursday. A cold front will clash with the warm air resulting in widespread showers and thunderstorms. We will also be watching the remnants of Tropical Storm Gabrielle. She will be tracking offshore from Friday. That may slow the progression of the cold front moving through and keep some rain around for Friday.
