CORNVILLE, Maine (AP) - Police had to use a stun gun to subdue a man they say was threatening people near the Cornville Regional Charter School as well as a Somerset County sheriff's deputy.
Cpl. Eugene Cole says the man was subdued with a stun gun on Monday afternoon after he refused to submit to arrest.
Cole tells the Morning Sentinel the man then ran into the woods and was stunned again.
He was apprehended just after 2:30 p.m. and placed in a cruiser.
The man's name was not immediately made public.
