The warm and muggy air that moved in here on Monday is showing no desire to exit our region anytime soon. Dew points in the low to mid 60s will continue for the next two days and there could be a few afternoon showers or thunderstorms popping up. The activity is looking to be pretty scattered on Wednesday and perhaps a bit more widespread on Thursday. Both days should feature areas of morning fog then a mix of sunshine and clouds. An afternoon seabreeze will keep it coolest near the coast. The models are hinting at slightly drier air arriving here for Friday so that day is looking to be precipitation free and the most comfortable day of the week. Dew points are expected to climb again on Saturday and there could be a few showers as we transition into the more humid air mass. Sunday is the first day of September and it looks like the month will be getting off to a fair but muggy start.
