OGUNQUIT, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- The search continues for the body of a missing fisherman just off the coast of Ogunquit.
The Maine Marine Patrol took out patrol boats on Sunday and coordinated with the State Police dive team and Maine Warden Service in the recovery effort for the body of Billy McIntire.
Searchers used two boats with side scan sonar and even took out a plane for 3 hours around low tide to search the coastline. There was no sign of McIntire.
The Maine Marine Patrol says the search will now be incorporated into their day-to-day efforts and aerial surveillance will be kept to times when conditions for spotting McIntire are most favorable.
