PORTLAND, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- The Children's Museum & Theatre of Maine took advantage of Monday's sun to get some of Portland's kids outside and using their minds.
PHOTOS: Pop-up playscapes
They held one of two pop-up playscapes, bringing along recycled materials and a few artists and volunteers... and just let kids get creative; the result was an entire community out of cardboard.
The kids made trains, airplanes, and houses. Above all, they learned valuable skills - like teamwork.
The next pop-up playscape will be held on August 31st on the Eastern Promenade.
