We have some soggy weather today, but high pressure will provide us with brighter skies for the second half of the week. Another plus will be some dry and comfortable conditions Thursday and Friday.

This Afternoon - As of noon many places had already seen about 1-2" of rain. The steady rain will continue to push NE and the rain will taper to scattered showers and thunderstorms this afternoon. Some of these showers could still feature heavy downpours. Highs will only be in the 60s and low 70s and higher dew points make it feel a little muggy outside.

Tonight - A few scattered showers and isolated storms. Cloudy skies, patchy fog, and lows in the mid to low 60s.

Wednesday - Cloudy skies to start. Skies will become sunny through the day. I can't rule out the chance of isolated showers in the afternoon. Temperatures warm up to around 80 degrees.

Extended Forecast - Thursday looks AMAZING! Sunny with dry and comfortable conditions. Another pretty nice day on Friday. There may be a slight chance of showers in eastern Maine. Partly sunny skies and a little more humid to start the weekend. Chance of showers Sunday.
