SACO, Maine (NEWS CENTER) - Monday's early morning hours were eventful for the Saco police department, to put it mildly.
PHOTOS: Police cars damaged
Saco Police were tipped off that a driver who was traveling the wrong way on I-95 might be headed their way.
A Saco Police officer found her speeding toward him going the wrong way on I-195.
Officer Donald Fiske chased her for a time, but in their pursuit she managed to ram his car three times, disabling it in the final hit.
She tried to get away but by that point several more cruisers were following her. Not one for new moves, she tried slamming into them, too.
She hit two cars, totaling one but also disabling her car in the process.
But she wasn't done yet.
Police say she wouldn't get out of her car. So officers broke her window to open the door. Then they say she was combative. So they tasered her.
In the end, Monique Vallee, from Andover, MA, was taken first to the hospital and then to the York County Jail.
She's facing multiple counts of Aggravated Reckless Conduct, Assault on an Officer and Aggravated Criminal Mischief.
She's due in court in September.
Police say Vallee caused nearly $25,000 in damage to three cars. It'll take a few weeks to repair two of them, the third is lost. The department does have back-up vehicles so they don't anticipate any gaps in coverage.
