A few of my friends can't get enough of the warm, sticky weather conditions we've had locked in place lately. I say it's time to cool things down, how about you?
We do have a muggy air mass in place, which means we've got a lots of instability in our atmosphere. An approaching front from our west will help to trigger some scattered showers and thundershowers late this afternoon and this evening. Behind that front some cooler, drier air will come flowing into the region, replacing the hot, humid air mass that's been in place for quite a stretch.
Expect sunshine, cooler temperatures and lower humidity Sunday and Monday; low pressure to our south and another front to our west will bring some clouds and scattered showers to our area Tuesday.
Can't wait until the muggies leave us...I don't care what my friends say!
