PORTLAND, Oregon (KGW) -- On a picturesque evening Portland, Oregon's Glenwood Park is a perfect place to unwind if you are a kid. Monday evening was not perfect if you ask Gavin Campbell.
"It wasn't really scary," said Gavin. "It was kind of."
The 11-year-old was with a group of friends. They were all minding their own business when Gavin was approached by a boy two years older.
"He was walking up and he put the gun in my face, this far away, and he said, 'give me the board,' or he's going to shoot me," said Gavin. "I didn't think it was a real gun because you could see it wasn't."
Gavin did not wait to find out. He handed over his skateboard. His friend, Kyle, called for help
