AUGUSTA, Maine (AP) - A Maine man and two New York City residents have been arrested on drug charges in Augusta.
The men were arrested this week at an Augusta apartment.
Twenty-nine-year-old Matthew Jepsen of Augusta, as well as 21-year-old Kenneth Floyd and 34-year-old Robert Lonnie Dixon of Bronx, N.Y., were all charged with trafficking in cocaine.
Authorities say Dixon and Floyd were being held in Kennebec County jail in lieu of $50,000 bail and Jepson on $25,000 bail. It was not clear if they had lawyers.
Agents seized approximately 17 grams of crack cocaine valued at $1,700 and almost $8,200 in cash that is alleged to be proceeds from the sale of crack.
Police tell the Kennebec Journal that two children were in the apartment at the time of the search.
