Reports: KG, Pierce, Terry headed to Brooklyn

BOSTON (NEWS CENTER) - A day after former Boston Celtics coach Doc Rivers was introduced to the media in Los Angeles, the two biggest stars from his old team ended up in Brooklyn.

According to multiple reports, the Celtics have traded hall of fame bound forwards Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce along with guard Jason Terry to the the Nets for a package of several players and three first round picks (2014, '16, '18). 

The players headed to Boston is the expiring contract of forward Kris Humphries, forwards Gerald Wallace, Tonike Shengalia, Reggie Evans, and guard Keith Bogans, who'd arrive be acquired in a sign-and-trade deal. 

The deal won't be consummated until July 10, when the league-wide moratarium for free agency and trades is lifted.
