A mighty gloomy start to the day across our neighborhoods today, with clouds, fog and drizzle out and about. A frontal boundary hanging around northern New England will keep clouds and showers in the forecast for today-in fact, it appears some steady showers will likely move through the region mid to late morning, with clouds, showers and fog expected later today as well.

The best chance for a few glimpses of sunshine? Head north! Aroostook county will likely see some sunshine this afternoon, while the rest of the Pine Tree State will stay cloud-covered and damp.

Our weather scene will remain cloud-covered with showers expected to visit as the frontal boundary continues to control our weather pattern Wednesday and Thursday; finally it appears the sky will brighten as we head toward the weekend, with a partly cloudy sky (but chilly temperatures) arrives in time for the start of the Memorial Day weekend.
