LEWISTON, Maine (AP) - A housing fair to help people displaced from their homes by recent fires in Lewiston is being held by Maine state agencies.
The event is scheduled for Wednesday afternoon at the Lewiston office of the Maine Department of Health and Human Services.
The Maine State Housing Authority, Maine Department of Health and Human Services and local support agencies want to help connect prospective tenants with landlords. Property managers with vacant apartments are encouraged to attend the housing fair, and may call MaineHousing to reserve a space at 626-4600.
Also, landlords and property managers throughout Maine can advertise their vacant units for free on Maine's rental housing connection, MaineHousingSearch.org.
The fair is Wednesday, 1-5 p.m., Lewiston office of the Maine Department of Health and Human Services, 200 Main Street.
