High pressure remained in control of our weather Wednesday supplying us with yet another mostly sunny day. Temperatures climbed into the 70s across the interior while onshore winds kept coastal regions in the 60s. A cold front is expected to drop in from the northeast or as we say through the back door on Thursday. It should put more clouds in the sky and this coupled with an easterly wind will result in cooler temperatures. Along and near the coast highs probably won't climb much above 60 while mid 60s to low 70s should dominate across the interior. As usual the farther you are from the ocean the warmer you'll be. High pressure will then build in on Friday with mostly sunny skies returning. The high is expected to remain over us right into next week bringing a stretch on sunny weather with temperatures warming up a few degrees each day.
