PORTLAND, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- Public transit has been shut down in and out of Boston, including Amtrak's Downeaster train service.

The travel freeze was ordered as part of the manhunt for the suspect in the Boston Marathon bombing investigation.
Train 680 will be held at the Exeter, NH station. Train 681 will run a normal schedule from Exeter, NH north to Brunswick. Train 682 will run according to schedule as far south as allowed, which as of right now is Exeter, NH.
Currently there is no train service to Haverhill, Woburn or Boston.
The Northern New England Passenger Rail Authority says the travel freeze will continue until further notice. Passengers can find alerts on the group's website, www.AmtrakDowneaster.com.
