PORTLAND, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- The family of a man missing from Maryland has reason to believe he may be in Maine.
69-year old Timothy Fowler disappeared from an adult care center in Maryland just over a week ago. He suffers from alzheimer's disease and his family says he often talks about going back to Maine, where he spent most of his life.
Fowler grew up on Munjoy Hill, so his family has been searching his old stomping grounds for any sign of him.
Fowler suffers from Type 2 diabetes, and authorities say he's likely without his medication.
He's about 5'10 with brown eyes and gray hair. He was last seen wearing a black baseball cap, a black leather jacket, a black and gray sweater, blue jeans and black tennis shoes.
If you have any information, you're asked to call the police.
