Between the low to our north and high pressure building in from the west the winds will still be howling today. Temperatures will slowly warm up through the rest of the work week. If you are missing the mild temperatures that come with Spring the long range forecast does feature and active yet warmer period next week.
Today - Mix of sun and clouds, gusty west winds, and highs 36-41 degrees. Still the chance of some snow showers in the mountains.
Tonight - Clear and cold. The breezy conditions are actually our saving grace keeping our temperatures at least in the 20s for most locations.
Thursday - Brighter skies and warmers temperatures. Still a bit breezy out there. High pressure will start to pass to the east and that will help to give our temps a boost.
Extended Forecast - A cold front will bring more clouds to the area on Friday. Temperatures warm to the low and mid 50s. A storm system will pass offshore Friday night. This storm may bring some light rain and snow showers to the coast and eastern Maine during the overnight. High pressure provides us with a beautiful start to the weekend. More clouds and a few scattered showers Sunday.
