AUGUSTA, Maine (AP) - Maine lottery officials say an unemployed truck driver has won $2 million in the Powerball lottery.
The Maine Lottery Commission says James Lovell of Clinton bought a ticket for the Feb. 23 drawing that matched five numbers. He turned the $1 million prize into an extra $1 million with the Power Play option.
Lovell bought his ticket at the Canaan Superette in Canaan.
Lottery officials said Lovell bought a new pickup truck with his winnings, but has a financial adviser managing the rest, including trusts he has set up for his granddaughters.
