SAGADAHOC COUNTY, Maine (NEWS CENTER) - Drug agents say they've stopped three people from selling heroin in Sagadahoc County.
In mid-January, Maine Drug Enforcement Agents and local police agencies noticed an influx of heroin.
In the resulting investigation, law enforcement agents pinpointed three separate people who they believe were selling heroin individually.
Arrested are Derek Elliot, 21, of Brunswick, Joshua Neisius, 25, of West Bath and Dwan Russell, 25, of Topsham.
Police say that the three know each other but they worked alone.
In a media release, the Department of Public Safety says that drug agents seized six grams of heroin from Neisius, two grams from Russell and one gram from Elliot. Nine grams of heroin is worth about $11,000.
The suspected drug dealers are being held at the Two Bridges Jail.
