Snow and rain made its exit to the NE through the morning hours. In the wake of this storm skies partially clearing this afternoon and winds will pick up from the NW. Overall our weather pattern will remain quite right through the start of the weekend. Next chance of snow will be Saturday night into Sunday.

This Afternoon - Clouds hang on in the mountains and northern Maine where we will see some additional accumulation. Away from the mountains skies partially clear. High temperatures today range from the mid to upper 30s. Breezy conditions continue through the afternoon.

Tonight - Partly to mostly cloudy skies, mountain snow showers, and lows around 20 degrees.

Thursday - Partly sunny skies with still a breezy NW wind. Best chance of snow showers will be for the mountains, but we could have some isolated snow showers/flurries even close to the coast. High temperatures again warm to the mid and upper 30s.

Extended Forecast - High pressure provides us with sunny skies on Friday. Clouds increase through the day Saturday and there is a chance of snow arriving late Saturday night into Sunday. Western and southern Maine have the best chance of seeing several inches of snow with this storm. We will keep you updated as the latest information comes into the weather office.
