High pressure will provide us with a mostly sunny day today. There will still be more clouds closer to the mountains and northern Maine along with some scattered snow showers. A low pressure system will pass just to our south tonight into early Thursday morning. That will bring more clouds to southern Maine and along the coast through the morning. Overall our Valentine's Day weather will be nice with partly sunny skies. Next chance of some snow/rain showers moves in Friday.
This Afternoon - Mostly sunny skies and seasonably mild. Looks like another day with a lot of melting. Highs around 40 degrees. Clouds will still hang on in the mountains and far northern locations into the afternoon where we will also see a few scattered snow showers.
Tonight - Partly to mostly cloudy skies. Lows dip into the teens and 20s so you will want to watch out for refreezing tonight.
