Good morning! A very cold day but lots of sunshine. Southern areas will notice high clouds late and will see a little light snow overnight and tomorrow morning. Eastern Maine should not see snow until early afternoon Friday. From late day Friday until late day Saturday. Snow will fall at times heavy and accumulate 1 to 3 inches an hour in spots so very heavy amounts are possible(SEE SPECIAL MAP) Strong winds will cause big drifts and near zero visibility at times and along the coast high seas of 20 to 30 feet could produce moderate to possible major coastal flooding Saturday morning at the time of high tide.Scattered power outages are likely and travel will be dangerous if not impossible at times.Sunshine returns Sunday.
