Five alarm fire in Portsmouth knocked down

PORTSMOUTH, New Hampshire (NEWS CENTER) - Firefighters in Portsmouth battled a five alarm fire on Bow street Friday night.

According to, the fire was at 135 Bow Street at the Harbour Place condominiums. Crews from Exteter, Newington, Hampton, Rye, Greenland as well as Kittery and York were called to the scene.

The fire started early Friday evening and according to crews on the scene the fire was knocked down sometime around 11pm Friday night.
