DOVER-FOXCROFT, Maine (NEWS CENTER) - A woman from Brownville was in court Tuesday morning on a charge she tried to hire a hitman to kill her husband.
Wendy Farley pleaded not guilty to one count of criminal solicitation at the Piscataquis County District Court.
District Attorney Chris Almy says he was not surprised by her plea of not guilty.
Farley, who was indicted in September, has been married for 30 years.
Prosecutors say they have recorded tapes of her making the deal with the would-be hitman.
