Hope everyone is doing ok digging out if you've started. The snow is that heavy wet stuff along the coast so take it easy.
Snow will taper off this evening after around dinnertime. Things will be completely wrapped up by tomorow morning as the low moves farther off the coast. Total accumulations are still looking like 3-6" with most of us probably closer to the 6" mark. Wouldn't be surprised to see some 7 or 8" reports out there either. Temps overnight will be in the mid to upper 20s.
Tomorrow will be partly sunny with temps making it into the low to mid 30s before the arctic air moves in by tomorrow afternoon. It will get COLD tomorrow night. We're talking single digits. Couple snow squalls are possible tomorrow as well as the front moves through the area. Winds will start off out of the west at 10-15 mph then shift north.
Friday will be cold with temperatures about 10 degrees below normal. We will see some sunshine though along with some clouds. A low will pass very close off to our southeast and I wouldn't be surprised if Downeast Maine even got clipped with a couple of snow showers. Friday night temps will drop into the single digits and low teens.
Another possibility of snow showers this weekend. If you missed January weather it's certainly back in full force. Next week's temps are looking to stay below normal with another shot at some snow for Tuesday.
Stay safe on the roads, things will be below freezing everywhere and freeze pretty well tonight. It could certainly still be slick for the morning commute.
